LumiVest™ - Cycling LED Signal Safety Vest

I've been using it for almost a year every day and it's really great. No setup required and the pad is very easy to clip and remove from the backpack. It also allows top access to the backpack without removing it so you don't really need to take it out very often. Batteries duration is great and charging the pad with a USB port is a great idea. Maybe this can be implemented also on the remote in the future.I recently had a pairing issue (pad stopped responding to the remote), contacted support, they responded promptly and the problem was easily resolved, so worth to mention that also.Bottomline: highly recommended product.

this is the most reliable turn signal system I've found for biking. I rejected several bike-mounted options as they lacked reliability, couldn't hold charge, or failed to pair with the controller provided, or had a controller that could not be operated with full gloves.while it's designed for back-pack mount, I have mine strapped to a Fox Titan body armor jacket. it's detachable so I can still wash the jacket when it stinks, but it has enough strap action to hold in place even in a spill. it holds a charge for weeks or more. it has an easily accessed full USB plug (male) that pulls out of the zipped compartment. I did end up using a female cable to charge it, but it's not necessary if you're willing to put it up close to the socket (which got old for me given I've got it mounted on body armor.)the controller is the MOST reliable/effective design I've seen in bike turn signals. the buttons are raised and easy to see and feel. I can reliably get the button I wanted on the first try without looking. you will get a moment's flashing light verification on the controller, but this light will not persist.on the downside, this means the rider can't be certain what signal is being displayed at any given time (but this is unfortunately typical for most bike turn signal systems.) the work-around is to get into the habit of hitting the "fwd" or "neutral" flash buttons whenever you're in doubt. again, like most comparable products, your signal will persist until you set it to a different option (yes, even most motorcycles work this way.)while I'd LIKE a better product (that includes a signal light on the controller itself) I am not aware of any other product that includes everything this one does, plus a cockpit light. I'm ranking this "best so far" after rejecting many other options...

I got this for my son, who rides to work just right before it's light out, so happy with the way it fits and looks. I highly recommend this product! I add a picture of the product, on his vest when its not on. Also, a picture of him out in the evening riding. Sorry the pictures are not better.

Super great I just wish that it was on a regular zip on vest (see pictures). I will see if I can sew it to my hi-viz vest. Also, I took it apart in case any of you were interested in seeing the inside. I do love the USB recharging.Update 5/19/2020I bought a second one to replace one that I broke in a crash. The remote and unit still works but some lights were missing. Since I had 2 units I wanted to see if I could use one remote to control two backpacks. I was told you can't but it turns out that you can! I give this product 5 stars now because of this feature. And the battery really does last 30 hours. That's a month of commuting for me before I need to recharge it.

I love this vest, its perfect for bike riding and walking. Its perfect!
