This pouch is more inline with what I was shopping for. It's not to large and holds my phone, notepad, ink pens and markers.

Purchased this to conceal carry a Ruger LC9 when hiking. Fits perfect! The snap straps are close enough together that it can be mounted on backpack shoulder straps to make it easily chest accessible. Also mounts nicely on a waist belt for concealed carry. Zippers open easy and have strings that make them quick for access. Exactly what we were looking for to hold and hike with the LC9.
I got this to carry my phone when riding my motorcycle, and it's ideal for that application.
